The following info and tables are sourced from the official patch notes for the winter update. Look up in the sky! Why is it engulfed in eldritch flame? Dragon has been a staple of Clash of Clans for nearly a decade. Super Dragon is the supreme Roast Master.
Though being a winged whirlwind of flame does make it hard for him to give good hugs. The Flame Flinger is a deadly contraption barely held together by spite and willpower. This little-understood wonder of siege engineering contains a payload of incendiary Fire Spirits that are flung over enemy defences, leaving fiery destruction and mass mayhem in their wake.
All remaining Wall segments at TH14 can now be upgraded to level 15, for a total of level 15 Wall segments. All leagues will see an increase in the amount of loot you earn when you complete your daily Star Bonus. Check out yet another table with the new rewards. We hope you're enjoying all the awesome content coming in the first major update of Of all the updates we've worked on, this update definitely ranks as one of our favorites.
We had so much fun concepting, designing, developing, and producing all the new stuff going into Town Hall 14, and we can't wait for you all to get your hands on it. We're absolutely proud of this update and we also can't wait to show you what else we have in store for you throughout the year!
Today we're sharing the full patch notes for this update. New in these notes are also some changes that are specific to Town Hall 14 players and also all of the bug fixes coming in this release so please make sure you check them out and discuss them below!
Hero Pets are a brand new kind of unit in Clash of Clans. When you upgrade your Pet House, you will also gain access to a new Hero Pet at each level. Assigning different Hero Pets to different Heroes will allow you to create various flexible strategies around the needs of your army composition! Want to give your Barbarian King some extra ranged damage? Then bring in Electro Owl as his Hero Pet.
Or perhaps you want to bring your Queen Walk to the next level, then give her Unicorn for additional healing! Finally, Hero Pets can be upgraded using Magic Items. Just like your Heroes, they can be upgraded using Book of Heroes to complete an upgrade in process or a Hammer of Heroes to instantly give your Hero Pet a level.
Mysterious in appearance, this superconductive bird of prey silently glides alongside your Hero, automatically giving that Hero additional points in coolness. In combat, the Electro Owl shoots a ranged attack that bounces once to a nearby target. Tougher than mountains, Mighty Yak uses his horns to batter a path for his Hero companion by dealing extra damage to Walls. Heroes who bask in its regenerative radiance will recover damage over time as their own personal healer!
After years of having his creations smashed to kindling day after day, Builder has finally decided to transform his humble abode into a tool for retaliation. At Town Hall 14, the Builder will no longer hide inside his Builder Hut and now takes an active role in defending your Village!
In order to stymie the damage being done to his architectural wonders, Builder will attempt to repair nearby Defenses during a battle. Although the Builder himself cannot be dealt damage nor can he be targeted by attacking Troops, he CAN be targeted by offensive Spells. Lightning Spell will cause him to reset his repair target.
Builder will cease repairing his targeted building once his own Builder Hut has been destroyed. Another thing to keep in mind is the Builder Hut is now a Defense structure and will be targeted by units that attack Defenses such as Balloons, Hog Riders, etc!
Referencing the table above, a level 1 Clan Castle, when you receive donated troops, the level of those troops will be restricted to troop levels for a level 5 Laboratory. This level cap also affects War donations as well. Higher level Troop donations will automatically have their levels reduced by the level cap.
Additionally, any Troop levels gained through Clan perks will still adhere to the level cap. These new Challenges are unlocked with each Town Hall level and completing each Challenge will provide more Challenges to complete. There are some deliciously tempting rewards that can be earned on the Starter Pass. Once a player upgrades to Town Hall 7, all unclaimed rewards are automatically collected.
Check them out here! Boosts on Heroes or Buildings are no longer cancelled when an upgrade is started and will continue to run in the background. Practice mode levels are now only available at the same Town Hall as the level, not one earlier. Ongoing Lab upgrade timer continues normally when Lab is upgraded and can be finished with Gems or a Book.
Move some of the obstacles from the new Village starting layout closer to the edges so there's larger continuous empty space for the Village. The rewards for the first 19 Goblin Map levels after the tutorial have been increased for a better new player experience: Values for level 20 and beyond remain unchange. Blog Keep up-to-date with Clash of Clans. While assassins were strong, their Mythics felt lackluster. Many assassins were opting into Mythics like Goredrinker or Stridebreaker, and some rushed Legendaries like Youmuu's before their Mythic.
We're not opposed to flexing into unique builds, but building a Lethality Mythic first was almost always the weaker option. We're reducing the gap between Mythics and Youmuu's for melee Lethality users, while ranged Lethality users should be relatively unaffected. It's been great for artillery champions and assassins during playtests, and we're excited to see you experiment with it! You can read more details behind its design here.
Unlike Banshee's Veil, subsequent damage won't keep restarting the cooldown. Its rules were too complex, and tinkering with it risked making it even harder to master. After a keystone is used or has expired, another random keystone is granted. This updated version should appeal to tanks and some enchanters without removing skill expression. We think it'll be particularly useful to defend allies or amplify huge engages.
Lethal Tempo The keystones available for marksmen felt a little flat. Hail of Blades offered a burst of instant attack speed, Lethal Tempo a delayed burst of attack speed, and Press the Attack a delayed burst of damage. Lethal Tempo stood out as the least popular of the bunch despite having a similar win rate.
This meant it was either more niche, less satisfying, or both. We're clarifying Lethal Tempo's identity as the best ramping option for long term value and adding attack range to make it more unique. Attacking a champion while the effect is active extends the duration to 6 seconds. This effect stacks up to 6 times. Ultimate Spellbook is back—with a twist! If you need a refresher, the original rules can be found here. We've added several new ultimates to the pool of Ult-ernate Summoner Spells, champion select bans, a new auto-smite feature for junglers, and special interactions with the new Chemtech and Hextech Drakes!
The only exception is the following bonus Ability Haste reduction on Ashe's R. However, freeing a qualifying jungle camp Epic Monsters, Rift Scuttlers, or Allied Buff Monsters will trigger Auto-Smite, granting him the heal and jungle starter item stack that a regular Smite would.
All of her splashes have also been updated, and some have been completely redone. Jayce and Jinx have also been modernized for clarity and thematic purposes. This removed several cases where Caitlyn was able to Headshot while her basic attack was on cooldown since Headshots now use her basic attack timer. We're monitoring Caitlyn's performance—especially at high skill levels—to ensure this doesn't unintentionally nerf her.
Initial on-hit SFX are now more impactful than subsequent hits. Trap SFXs adjusted to match new animation timing. On-hit SFX are now more impactful.
