Replies 7. Predator 7 Thorium. Best Regards! God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the difference. Predator, I appreciate the help. It says to back up my registry files. I know this sounds like a stupid question but if the CD-Rom does not work, how do I back these files up?
Do I use a floppy or will it work enough to do the back up? I don't think it will but I was just curious. How long will that take? How many floppy disks will it take? I hope I do not sound like an idiot!!! I have never done anything like this before, but am willing to try.
Brand new machine 4 months old and I do not want to mess it up!!! Don't want to mess with the warranty either. Will this mess with it if I don't give Dell a call? Hi Doctor Audit, Dell and Microsoft both have articles on this Code error, the article covers Code 19, 31, 32, 39 and They both need updating to include just about any third party burning program. It will not hurt your warranty and if you would rather, please do contact Dell and have them walk you through it.
You are not the first my friend to be concerned about editing the registry and I know Dell has gotten calls on this. Predator, Thank you for the advice. Talk to you tommorrow.
